The PRODIG-2 has been specially designed to make measurements for Digital Terrestrial TV.
The instrument makes all the calculations to determine the quality of the signals, both analogue and digital in a completely automatic way. The only control is used for powering up the unit and for the selection of the channel to analyse. The instrument detects the nature of the signal, analogue or digital, and makes the proper measurements so to determine the quality of the signal. One of the major differences between the PRODIG-2 and other inexpensive Level Meters is that the PRODIG-2 makes the C/N calculation in channel, thus giving a much more reliable quality evaluation. The lack of connectors and controls in the front panel makes the PRODIG-2 ensures the protection versus dust, humidity, strokes, etc.. |
